Day 01 Yangon
Arrival at Yangon airport in the morning. Transfer to Hotel Pansea. The rest of the morning and early afternoon is to relax at your hotel. Late afternoon, drive through the colonial style buildings downtown, the Chinatown area and the Indian quarter. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous world wide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar people praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it's a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Accommodation at Hotel.

DAY 02 Yangon – Inle Lake
breakfast. Morning at leisure until transfer to Yangon Domestic Airport Flight from Yangon to Heho. From Heho, drive to Nyaungshwe on the edge of Inle Lake and board your own local boat to take you to your hotel. Accommodation at Hotel.

DAY 03 Lake Inle
breakfast. Mid morning, start your boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer's dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic high hills provide the perfect backdrop. See the lake's unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. You will see the floating gardens, growing vegetables and flowers. Also visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its "jumping cats”. Stop to see silk weaving on wooden handlooms. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State. Stop at a blacksmith shop, and other places as time allows. Accommodation at your hotel.

DAY 04 Lake Inle – Mandalay
breakfast. This morning, enjoy another boat tour to Indaing, at the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their produce. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Lake Inle. In the afternoon, transfer to Heho airport for departure with Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways to Mandalay. From the airport, transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at Hotel, Mandalay.

DAY 05 Mandalay
breakfast. Start your morning Mandalay sightseeing tour with a visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, home to Mandalay's holiest Buddha statue. Stop to see stone carving and later to see gold leaf being beaten into wafer thin pieces. Check in to your hotel late morning. In the afternoon, visit Shwenandaw, an ancient wooden building with intricate carvings which was once King Mindon's home. Continue to see the world's largest book", being the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs, at Kuthodaw Pagoda. Visit Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda to see a large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of local marble. Enjoy spectacular views at sunset from Mandalay Hill where there are interesting glass-studded temples. Accommodation at Hotel.

Day 06 Amarapura – Sagaing – Ava
American breakfast. Morning excursion to the ancient capital of Amarapura (the Immortal) and visit Bagaya Monastery, Mahagandayon Monastery (where more than 700 monks live) and U-Bein teak bridge (1.2 km long). Also, visit picturesque Sagaing Hills, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Footwalk down to the bottom of Sagaing Hill. In the afternoon, cross the Myit Nge River by ferry and reach Ava (Innwa), which, after the fall of the Bagan Kingdom, became capital in the 14th century under Shan rule. Part of the old city wall, the Innwa Fort and many old pagodas are witnesses to the importance Ava once enjoyed. Most importantly, however, Ava is located on an artificial island which can only be reached by boat during the rainy season and which therefore is a place where horse carts dominate the local scenery and Myanmar traditional village life can be observed in its original form. Return to Mandalay late afternoon. Accommodation at Hotel.

Day 07 Mandalay - Monywa – Mandalay
American breakfast. 0700 hours leave Mandalay and cross Ava bridge, which was built by british engineers. Continue by road and visit Thanboddhay Pagoda, which is about 20 kilometres from Monywa. The richly decorated central stupa has no less than 845 smaller stupas around it. Inside the patio, you will see thousands of Buddha images (reportedly over 500,000) decorating every wall, archway and niche. The buildings in the compound have interesting jataka reliefs. Then, take a local ferry across the Chindwin River and then drive on a rough road about 30 minutes to the sandstone cave system in the Po Win Hills, named after a famous 'zawgyi' (alchemist) who once lived here. The Caves of Po Win Daung, numbering more than one hundred, are full of Buddhist statues and murals. Most exhibit the Innwa style but some may date from the 14th Century. Nearby, visit Shwe Ba Daung which features unique pavilions cut from the surrounding sandstone and filled with Buddha images. In the late afternoon, return back to Mandalay. Accommodation at Hotel.

Day 08 Mandalay – Bagan
American breakfast. Morning at leisure until transfer from the hotel to Mandalay Airport. Flight from Mandalay to Heho. Arrival to Bagan Airport and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Bagan

Day 09 Bagan
breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, we drive with a horse driven state coach through the temples of Bagan: Visit the Archaeological Museum. Continue to Dhammayangyi, a massive-looking temple dating from 1170 that is famous for its interlocking mortarless brickwork. Next, visit Mingalazedi, the last of the large Pagodas built in the 13th Century, representing the pinnacle of Bamar pagoda architecture. Late afternoon, stop at Moe Moe lacquer ware factory to watch craftsmen skillfully making this most famous of Bagan handicrafts. Climb to the top of one of the monuments to enjoy magnificent views over Bagan's temples at sunset. Accommodation at hotel, Bagan.

DAY 10 Bagan
American breakfast. Start your full day Bagan sightseeing tour with a visit to see the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda, which is Bagan's most important reliquary shrine – look out for images of the 37 'nats' housed in a small hall. Next stop is Htilominlo, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes. Continue to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery from the Early Bagan era with well-preserved murals. Make a photo stop at the tallest temple measuring 61 metres - Thatbyinnyu known as 'temple of omniscience' and dating from 1144. In the afternoon, visit some more temples and pagodas if you wish. At the end of the day, enjoy a boat ride on the Irawaddy River. Your car remains at disposal in the evening should you like to go out for dinner. Accommodation at hotel.

DAY 11 Bagan – Salay - Mount Popa
breakfast. Drive out of Bagan to Mount Popa, home to Myanmar's intriguing 'nats' (spirits). The steps and path climb steeply up Mount Popa – an energetic climb rewarded by fabulous views from the top. Check in Popa Mountain Resort, which enjoys good views over Mount Popa and the surrounding countryside. Afternoon at leisure or take a tracking tour to the summit of volcano. Mt. Popa is famous for a small mountain with nat-shrines at the foot of the distinct volcano of Mt. Popa. This tour takes you to the very top of the volcano. The volcano is a national park and all around the base of the mountain are plantations with different types of trees. The path is steep, un-even and leads through different kinds of forests, up to the summit of the volcano. One can return the same way or by a path in the volcano crater. At the end of the day, enjoy a massage in the privacy of your room. Accommodation at Popa Mountain Resort.

Day 12 Popa – Bagan – Yangon
breakfast. This morning, enjoy Later in the morning, drive back to Bagan. Visit some more temples until transfer to Bagan Airport for flight from Bagan to Yangon. Arrival to Yangon and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Yangon.

Day 13 Yangon
American breakfast. 08.30 Pick-up at Hotel for a fullday visit of Yangon. First, visit Botahtaung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon’s water front. Then, the tour leads along Strand Road, into Mahabandoola Street, through Indiatown and Chinatown, past Sule Pagoda with its golden chedi, which makes a useful landmark in downtown Yangon and impressive colonial style government buildings such as the City Hall, General Telegraph Office, the Supreme Court, High Court and many pastel- painted shops and apartments. Moving uptown, we make a short stop at the Royal Lake where we can admire the view of the Karaweik Hall overlooking this scenic lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a beauty treatment at La Source Beauty Spa. The treatment includes a back massage, facial, shampoo and blow-dry. After this, we drive to Hotel Strand for a relaxing cocktail in the old bar. Accommodation at hotel, Yangon.
